The Smartphone app chapter comprises the subsections:
With the smartphone app, everyone in the team can record their working hours and display their tasks. Call up information about your tasks on site. Record times and notes for each task and mark tasks as completed. In the fields section, you can track the occupancy of the beds and call up the data by tapping on a planting-set. You can also record the harvest quantity directly in the field after harvesting.
All data can also be stored offline and is transferred as soon as the device has an Internet connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi). To be able to call up current data from task list and field allocation offline, these data must have been loaded once with an internet connection (for example, in the morning in the office).
Voice input: To quickly make notes in the cultivation planner app, you can use your smartphone’s voice input. Once this has been set up, it can be activated using the microphone icon (next to the keyboard) and you can record the note. To do this, select your preferred speech engine in the settings of your device under ‘Administration/Text to speech’ or similar.

Fields and beds list
In the field list, all areas and their beds can be called up by tapping on them and planting-sets that are planned on the beds are displayed there. You can call up set data by tapping on the set.
There are two views for this:
1. unfold the field by tapping on the arrow on the far right. Then tap on the bed. The lines below show the planned sets on the beds with the cultivation period.
2. the graphical view shown (of the example plot “Tunnel 1”), which can be called up by tapping on the diagram symbol. In this view, the bed numbers can be seen on the left-hand side of the screen.

The planting sets are displayed with a calendar week timeline for the entire year, as in the fields view of the desktop app, and are color-coded according to cultivation and harvest period.
In both views, tapping on a set calls up the corresponding set data.
Harvest recording

Open the harvest recording in the navigation bar below. A list of the sets, that are currently within their harvest period, appears. After harvesting in the field, enter the harvest quantities in the corresponding sets. Tap on a set in the list to go directly to harvest recording. The detailed view of the set opens with the recording. In the entry above it, you can display the cultivation data for the set.
Record harvest quantities:
Change the harvest date if necessary, by tapping on the date displayed and choosing another date. Then tap done.
Enter the harvest quantity to be recorded under “Harvest quantity” and select the desired unit (here ‘kg’) under “Unit”. By default, the unit stored in the set is preselected.
Under “Variety”, select the variety for which the harvest is to be recorded. A variety selection is only possible for sets that have not yet been assigned a variety in the cultivation plan. For different varieties that are planned within a set, the variety can be selected to record the harvest quantity (all varieties stored in the crop master data can be selected). In the desktop app, the recorded harvest quantities in the set are then listed separately by variety in the “Harvest recording” tab.
If necessary, select the beds on which the area was harvested under “Bed”.
Harvest quantities entered are displayed below the recording area after the save button has been tapped.
Time recording

Recording working hours in the mobile app:
Select the button “Time registration” (bottom far right).
Then tap on ‘Start’. The running timer is displayed.
Tap ‘Stop’ to end the time recording.
Tap “Start” again to record another time after a break.
All recorded times of a day are listed with the start and end time under the current recording.
The times are transferred as soon as the mobile device is online and can be viewed in the desktop app under “Time registration” and (with admin rights only) in the “Time registration manager”.
The time records can be corrected if necessary (e.g. if the time was forgotten to be stopped after work).
